Laura: Hey, shaun. How was your weekend? 

Shaun: Not bad, thanks.

Laura What did you do?

Shaun: Oh, I just went ineto village on Sunday and got a CD. What about you?

Laura: I played football at the sports centre yesterday. It was fun. When did you last play football?

Shaun: I don't know, mayebe four weeks ago.

Laura: How was it?

Shaun: Very good. Let's play next weekend.

Laura: Ok, great. See you then.

WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT HALLOWEEN? I know that halloween (also spelled Hallowe'en) is an annual holiday celebrated on October 31. It has roots in the Celtic festival of Samhain and the Christian holy day of All Saints.

When and where is it celebrated? Is celebrated on October 31. Is a Celtic festival.

Is it a religious celebration? Yes it was a religious celebrition

When did it become a dangerous celebration?Why? Originally Halloween was a pagan festival, around the idea of linking the living with the dead, when contact became possible between the spirits and the physical world, and magical things were more likely to happen.

How do people celebrate it today? Children would go from door to door in disguise as creatures from the underworld to collect treats, mainly fruit, nuts and the like for the festivities. These were used for playing traditional games like eating an apple on a string or bobbing for apples and other gifts in a basin of water, without using your hands. Salt might be sprinkled on the visiting children to ward off evil spirits.

Mum: Laura, can you do your homework, please?

Laura: Yes, in a minute. I'm busy at the moment.

Mum: come on, Laura. What are you doing?

Laura: I'm write an email. It's really god.

Mum: Laura! You need to do yur homework now!

Laura: Please, Mum! Is it OK if I do it later?

Mum: I suppose so, but don't forget to do it!

My ideal home

My ideal home is a modern flat outside the town. It's big and it's got everything. It's got four bedrooms, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a big kitxhen and a big livingroom. My bedroom have a balcony and you can see the garden from there.

On abn ideal afternoon in my ideal home we're all here. My mum and dad are wathing TV in the livingroom. My brother is in her berdroom. He is chatting on the internet. 

My favourite room is my bedroom becauset is my space and I have my things in it. I like it bacuase the house a lot of sun and there is a garden with the dog, and i like very much.

Sahun: Hay, Laura, look at this. 

Laura: What?

Sahun: This jumper. What do you think of it?

Laura: Not much, why?

Sahun: Don't you like it= I think it's really cool.

Laura: Well, it's OK, i supoose. But what about this hat? It's very cool.

Sahun: No I, don't think much of that. I can't stand that colour.

Laura: Oh, well, we can't all have good taste!
